Mist is a mass of fine droplets of water suspended in air. This phenomena is commonly seen during winters and early morning. Capturing mist in photos is mist photography. Due to water droplets suspended in thin air a beam of light is visible from the side due to refraction of light from the water particles. This creates a beautiful light ray scene in nature and you can see that in some photographs below.
