Dan Tobin Smith was raised in north London. He started taking pictures age 13, after being taught by his father, (a photographer and teacher) and enjoying the photography books of such greats as Bill Brandt and Edwin Smith. His editorial clients include Wallpaper, Another, Creative Review, Acne Paper, China Vogue, Kilimanjaro, i-D, New York Times Magazine. Commercial clients include Nike, Armani, Absolut, Clinique, Cartier, Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Sony and Volkswagen.
