31 ‘Ghost Recon’ ad glimpses the future of war

Here’s a pretty incredible live-action trailer for the Tom Clancy collection’s newest video game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Thanks largely to the marketing for Halo 3 and Halo: ODST, cinematic spots featuring real people have become the new gold standard for epic game previews. The downside is that you usually don’t even get a peek at the actual gameplay — or worse, game footage is sprinkled in haphazardly, destroying the realism of a cinematic trailer.
