Yan City is a beautiful, ancient city in China. It is steeped in mythology and has a long and rich history. It is a place that is other-worldly, with a sense of mystery, harmony and tranquillity.

With the opening of the impressive Yan City museum, Spinifex was commissioned to create an epic video piece depicting the history of this ancient place. The video coincides with continuing efforts to build a strong brand and attraction for Yan City. It is played out in a permanent, nightly show to entertain an audience of up to 300 people at one time during a 40 to 60 minute show.

As a symbol of a nation’s wealth and power, opera houses are an amazing way to experience a country’s rich culture. Photographer David Leventi takes us inside some of the most ornate ones and even asks us to stand center stage. Taking some photos from the vantage point of the performer, we get to experience an incredible view and one that we’d probably never experience otherwise.

This time-lapse video of the 1:1 scale model Gundam in Shizuoka, Japan, is the most visually stunning thing you’re bound to see all day. Watch it and go into a trance, only to wake up and book flights to Japan. It was built to mark the 30th anniversary of the Gundam plastic figurines at the end of July.
