Pantech “Skate Phone”

Skate or die, dude! That was the mantra The Mill NY adopted when BBDO Atlanta approached us to create a fully CG commercial promoting Pantech’s sponsorship of the Dew Tour. Creative Director Mario Stipinovich, Design Director Jeff Stevens and Art Director Emmett Dzieza imagined a world that blended painterly illustration with a deconstructed, geometric sensibility.  The Mill team collaborated with the agency’s creatives to invent a wonderfully stylized and unique world in which the handheld device ollies, rail-slides and catches air through three lush Dew Tour landscapes.

Second Life Mobile Phone Concept

The Second Life Mobile Phone Concept works on the premise that we often forget about the battery life of our mobile phones, hence run out of juice, just at the wrong time. As a remedy (rather power-saver-option) the phone incorporates a double display. When in active use the AMOLED screen powers up in all glory and in standby mode the E-ink display gets active. This essentially means that the E-ink uses very little energy and the degree of transparency of the display shows how much battery is remaining. The more transparent the display, the less battery remaining.

iida: X RAY

The mobile phone embraces an entirely new design. Electronic components—the PC board and integrated circuits—visibly emerge through the transparent body to convey depth. X-RAY is a new mobile phone that exhibits a fresh presence, achieved through design that extends to internal structure, all the way to the shape, color, and configuration of components. Transcending mere design as shape, X-RAY was conceived to express the natural form of the mobile phone on its surface, in revealing naked form. Its body’s calculated luster, color and degree of transparency evoke a deep sensibility and luxuriousness.

Best Designed iPhone Application Websites for Inspiration

With the unique functions, iPhone has become popular since its first release in 2007. It is surprising that iPhone would occupy our lives in such a short time.
