The agency The Campaign Palace knew to answer with brilliance at the request of the Panasonic mark for this 30 second old spot on the television sets “Viera”. An animation 3D in black and white, with a sequence of word games proposing the impact of the posted colors.

Experimental design team Aircord Labs has released a proof of concept video demonstrating an iPad with 3D capabilities visible to the naked eye. The effect is achieved with a specially designed projector that beams images into a pyramid shaped screen.

Collapsible Input Device for Direct 3D Manipulation beyond the Screen
It’s difficult to create 3D images on a 2D surface because, well, you’re missing a whole dimension. Enter Beyond, a collapsible input device that virtually extends the pen into the screen to create the 3D effect.
Beyond was created by the MIT Media Lab and is a pretty genius, glasses-less way to create 3D on a 2D surface. The 3D on 2D surface magic uses the collapsible pen, a tabletop display, an infrared position tracking system to track the pen, and a camera to track the user’s face so it can tweak the angle of the 3D effect. The collapsible pen is actually rather simple, with only basic electronics and 2 infrared markers behind the magic.

Samsung “Wonder-full”
Dubbed “Wonder-full”, the spot is the first of Samsung’s 2010 “Dedicated to Wonder” campaign that features a family of three who, on a visit to an aquarium, conduct the improbable feat of slicing out a large cube of water, fish intact, lashing it to the roof of their car and driving it home, where the father sets the square on the living room entertainment center and compresses it into the new ultra slim Samsung 3D LED TV. As the family relaxes on the couch, Samsung 3D active glasses on, a stream of sea creatures pours from the screen and appears to hover over them in the living room, giving the sensation of 3D action even to viewers watching in 2D.
