Restaurant websites are a great place to find inspiring designs and also to check out some nice ways of displaying photographs within a design. Since the main content of a restaurant is their food – or at least it should be – there is no better thing to do than show beautiful images of the food.

These three spots for Hormel Foods from BBDO Minneapolis had us falling off our chair.

Hard Times features a variety of characters from The Simpsons, most notably greedy billionaire C. Montgomery Burns. As Mr. Burns faces the loss of his fortune and worldly belongings, he learns to appreciate lifes simple pleasures like friends and family. The commercial was first shown during Super Bowl XLIV (44) 2010.

At Blue Moon Brewing Company, everything we do stems from our artistic approach to brewing beer. We paint flavors with hops, barley and wheat, and then add twists like orange peel and coriander. And that’s why we say our beer and everything we do is Artfully Crafted. The music featured in this ad is from the song “Punctual as Usual” by the Parson Red Heads.

Do you drink coffee? I bet you will like it more hereafter because we will feel the incomparable charm of coffee art together. Coffee foam art is, in short, making fancy coffee in various styles by using espresso, milk and chocolate topping. It is not only a kind of enjoyment in taste but also in vision.

NTT Docomo as they have Melty Bitter (Brown) and Melty Strawberry (Pink) clamshell phones (a.k.a SH04-B) coated from outside in a way to look like a three dimensional chocolate-bar in their winter-line up. The technical specs are nothing extraordinary, though: 3-inch WVGA ASV screen, 8MP CCD camera, waterproof, 1-seg digital TV tuner, Bluetooth etc. By the way, they are reported by Sharp to be limited to 13,000 production units.
