James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar has just been nominated for nine Oscars, including Best Picture. To date, the 3-D movie about a paraplegic ex-Marine who bonds with an alien culture has made more than 2 billion dollars worldwide, making it the all-time box office champ.
